Welcome to Feel Good Friday!
A weekly roundup of everyday magic moments, weekly favourites in home decor and wellness.
First up is this moment in Olympic history when Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus won Gold, and the best reaction goes to her coach Dean Boxell. The passion of this moment is incredible and the high energy is contagious. Be inspired and take this kind of energy into your weekend and you are going to feel good for it. Looking for something to watch this weekend, head over to 7Plus and catch up on The Tokyo Olympics.
With Sydney in lockdown, our homes have become our workplaces and online network. A good break from all of this is to get outside. One of my favourite moments of each day is going outside to tend the garden, with the weather warming up the garden is beginning to bloom which is always a reason to smile.
I always have essential oils going in my diffuser, my favourite oil this week has been Natio's HAPPY Blend. It is a 100% essential oil blend of geranium, chamomile and orange and like its namesake, it really is a happy blend that lifts your spirits as well as those around you.
This week I changed over my bedding to make it more luxe and cosy for winter. On my bed is The David Jones exclusive, Hanna Quilt Cover, Standard pillowcases and European pillowcases in the colour blush. Made from beautiful textured 100% Portuguese cotton. It is incredibly luxurious and an instant feel good moment. It is on sale online this weekend at David Jones as part of their Home Event.
Escape to the cost of Malibu California, in Taylor Jenkins Reid's novel Malibu Rising. Set in the 1980s full of all the beachy vibes, the party of the year as well as a twist and interwoven stories across generations.
Seize the Yay! Hosted by Sarah Holloway of Spoonful of Sarah. A podcast about people and their stories finding lives they adore. What I love about this podcast is how it goes beyond what we see on the outside of their success but about the journey. Some of my favourite episodes have featured Samantha Wills, Julia Stone, Sarah Andrews and Lucy Glade-Wright.
Three Birds Renovations House 14 is an incredibly exciting project. The Three Birds Bonnie, Lana and Erin have teamed up with Rawson Homes to create a Three Birds project home. Episode 2 was all about the floor plan and front facade coming to life. Catch up on all the episodes on YouTube.
What's been a moment this week that has made you have little laugh and smile to yourself?
